Tenants
Through Neo’s Estate Agents the following payments would be due upon your referencing application being successful and would need to be cleared funds before moving in on the agreed moving-in date:
- 1-month rent in advance
- Security deposit – Equivalent of 5 weeks rent (if the annual rent is under £50,000, if over £50,000 then it would be the equivalent of 6 weeks rent)
Monthly rent will be taken by Standing Order or Direct Debit from the nominated bank account on the monthly date of move-in.
All tenancy deposits are held with the DPS (Deposit Protection Scheme).
Once the deposit is received we are required by law to register the set amount within 30 days.
If your offer is accepted Through Neos’s Estate Agents then the holding deposit which is equivalent to one week’s rent is used against the initial rental payment, so you are not making this payment twice. Please be aware that if you make an offer that you later withdraw or if the tenancy application cannot proceed because you have given misleading or incorrect information or have not been accepted due to the referencing criteria then you may lose all or some of the holding deposit.
