Hayes (Kent) is a lovely village in the London Borough of Bromley, located in the North-West corner of Kent. It is within easy reach of London with direct trains to London Bridge and London Charing Cross Stations (with shuttle service to Cannon Street).
It offers frequent and reliable bus connections to Bromley, Croydon (119), Orpington (353), Biggin Hill and Westerham (246) and Addington Village (314).
It is part of the Hayes, Keston and Coney Hall Ward (3 councillors) and The Bromley and Biggin Hill Constituency.

You will find the main shopping area along Station Approach containing a Post Office, petrol station (Shell), two mini-supermarkets (Sainsbury’s Local and Iceland) and numerous small shops. It also contains a public house called The New Inn.
In Old Hayes (Hayes Street), there is a small range of shops and a Public House called The George. There is also a public library which is surrounded by library gardens.

Hayes Station provides good links to the rest of South East London and the City, being the terminus of the Southeastern Hayes Line. Regular services from the station terminate at Charing Cross calling at West Wickham, Eden Park, Elmers End, Clockhouse, New Beckenham, Lower Sydenham, Catford Bridge, Ladywell, Lewisham, New Cross, London Bridge, London Waterloo East and Charing Cross (with a link to Cannon Street from London Bridge).
